Have you tried to encourage beneficial insects to visit and live on your backyard farm?.

Beneficial insects range from predators to pollenators. I put wildflowers in my garden as an insectary (an insect habitat).

I'll write more on this subject and develop some international links which I am sure you will find useful for your backyard farm.
